2024 SUMMER CAMP
The Camp is open to children in school years 4, 5, 6 and 7 and is run by an experienced voluntary organisation; staffed by volunteers who have a wide range of experience in schools, university, and the wider world of work. We also offer a number of subsidised places for children from low income families.
The countdown to summer 2024 is on!
After an amazing summer in 2023 where we welcomed over 450 children to camp, we are so excited for another summer of fun, friendships, and awesome activities.
Our team of volunteers are busy planning for a summer that will be bigger and better than ever! Booking for 2024 will open in spring and we anticipate another highly subscribed year so be sure to follow us on social media to hear any updates first and avoid disappointment
The tents may be down but Camp never stops!

For many years, Kirklees Summer Play camp had welcomed Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) participants to camp, supporting young people to complete the residential section of their awards.

Every child’s place at summer camp is subsidised as we know that all families struggle with the cost of childcare and activities in the summer. We need to raise around £3000 per year to keep our cost as low as possible and invest in new kit and play equipment each year. Please help us by fundraising in any way you can.
